About us

Hello,

We are a group of people connected in someway or the other to Purnia.

The Group is named "Batulda students", as a large number of us, especially those who started this group, were students of this person from Purnia known as Batul Da. Batul Da in Purnia, however, is not just another tutor. Due to his personality, he is an object of respect and inspiration for us all. Irrespective of having or not studied with him, we all have the respect deserved by a true Guru for him.

So, Batulda and Purnia bind us together, no matter where we go.

Like the association, the purpose of the group has also kept expanding. What initally had been a means of keeping in touch, has also become a platform to communicate and collaborate so that we are able to give something back to the society we all hail from.

The issue we have currently targeted is the all round development and career counselling of the students at Purnia. UTSAV acts as a platform for the same. While the events themselves are aimed at bringing out the different kinds of talents in students, the occasion also acts as the time for interaction between the students and the alumni. Believe it or not, many of the alumni plan to reach home during UTSAV just the way people do for festivals like Diwali and Holi.
